Emily Bowden

Emily Bowden has been making music for as long as she can remember. She began piano lessons at the age of six and was already singing and playing in her home church by the time she was 13. Throughout school, she was deeply involved in choir, musicals, and band - an early passion that grew into a lifelong dedication to music.

Originally from Kentucky, Emily studied Classical Voice and Commercial Music at Morehead State University. During her time there, she performed with a variety of ensembles, including Concert Choir, Chamber Singers, OperaWorks, Jazz Vocal Ensemble, and the Commercial Music Ensemble. She also served as an officer in Sigma Alpha Iota, the national women’s music fraternity, and gained valuable experience working with church choirs as a soloist and substitute director.

Now living in The Woodlands, Emily enjoys teaching both voice and piano and has over 3 years of experience teaching students of all ages and expertise levels. She is also a member of the Woodlands Chorale and continues to explore new musical styles in her personal practice.

Emily believes that everyone can learn to sing or play with the right guidance, curiosity, and commitment. Whether you're starting fresh, returning to music after a break, or continuing your journey, she’s passionate about helping students grow and connect with the joy of music. Emily joins muse mantra as a Voice and Piano Instructor.
