Ms. Abbey is a warm and dedicated voice and piano teacher at muse mantra, bringing over 16 years of vocal experience and 7 years of piano experience to her students.

 

She also leads muse mantra’s early childhood music education program, where she introduces young children to music through fun, engaging, and age-appropriate activities.

As a vocalist and performer, Ms. Abbey has participated in UIL Solo and Ensemble, TMEA All-State Choir auditions, choral festivals, and talent shows across the United States. Her background includes years of independent vocal study with a focus on traditional voice training, Broadway, and musical theater technique.

To better support her students, Ms. Abbey has also continued growing as a pianist, allowing her to bring a well-rounded and flexible approach to both voice and piano lessons. Her teaching style is compassionate, patient, and personalized to each student’s needs, goals, and learning pace.

Ms. Abbey enjoys incorporating a variety of musical styles into her lessons, including musical theater, jazz, blues, pop, rock, and early childhood music exploration. She believes that learning music should feel encouraging, creative, and fun, while still helping students build strong musical skills.

​

At muse mantra, Ms. Abbey helps students grow in confidence, expression, and technique. Whether a student is stepping into their first voice lesson, learning piano for the first time, preparing for a performance, or joining an early childhood music class, Ms. Abbey creates a supportive space where students feel comfortable learning and excited to improve.
