Group Makeup Lessons

 

Students are no longer required to call the school 24hrs in advance of missing a lesson. 

 

Students can sign up for a Group Makeup Lesson at their convenience for any cancelations or absences using the link below. Students who miss a Group Music Lesson may attend another session of that class if there is one available.

 

Voice, adapted music, band instruments, and music production make up lessons will continue to be 1-on-1 at this time. Students are required to call the school 24hrs in advance to be eligible for a private make-up lesson.

What is a Group Makeup Lesson?

 

This is a Free one-hour group lesson for a particular instrument (Piano, Guitar, drums, violin etc.) that is designed to supplement a regular music lesson. This group lesson does not replace a regular scheduled lesson and is not mandatory for students. 

 

Group Music Lessons for a particular instrument is conducted once or twice per month based on a pre-set schedule decided for the year. In this group session, there is one teacher for a particular instrument and a maximum of 6 students. This is an excellent opportunity for students to interact with other students and gain a sense of confidence in sharing their music with others. The opportunity to attend a group lesson does not expire; however, actively enrolled students have priority placement for Group Makeup lessons.

Frequently Asked Questions

 

Why can’t I have a private make up lesson?

When you enroll in lessons, you are paying to secure a specific time, on a specific day with your teacher. This is the time that you are paying for, and this time is reserved indefinitely as your lesson time.

Do I need to call muse mantra to schedule a Group lesson?

No, you don't need to call us to cancel a lesson. You can reserve your spot for a group Music Lesson using the Opus1 Link below

If I’m gone for an extended period, can my child attend multiple Group lessons?

Yes. For example, if you are away for 3 weeks (missing 3 lessons), you can sign-up for multiple group lessons. Space is limited so please do not sign up for a group lesson you will not be able to attend.

If I sign up for a Group lesson and my schedule changes, can I attend my regularly scheduled lesson (for that particular instance)?

Yes.  Your day and time for lessons has been reserved for you.  Because you no longer need to call ahead when you are going to miss a lesson, that time will be available for you regardless of whether you show up or not.
