Branden Clay
Branden Clay is a musician with over 12 years of playing and performing experience, he loves to share his passion for music through teaching and playing with other musicians. Branden has played professionally with several artists and currently plays guitar with his band, Yummy, in and around the greater Montgomery area.
A native to The Woodlands, Branden’s love of music started at an early age. He played saxophone through school and is a self-taught guitarist. As a musician, he comes from a background of blues, rock, funk, R&B, and jazz (70’s music is his favorite!)
Branden’s primary goal is to help students fall in love with learning and playing music. He encourages his students to listen to new types of music they may have never heard before. The idea of exploring new kinds of sound, helps students open their minds in ways they never considered. He takes time to identify student goals and bases his lesson and teaching style on the student needs.
When he isn’t playing or teaching music, Branden is working to develop The Kalos Project, a mission-driven organization focused on regenerative agriculture and the empowerment of local food producers.
Branden joins the muse mantra team as a guest Guitar, Drums and Ukulele teacher.
