Grace Tracy

Grace Tracy is a classically trained vocalist from England, holding a Bachelor of Music (Honors) degree from the prestigious Royal Northern College of Music.

From a young age, Grace's passion for singing led her to tour Europe with her school choir, performing in renowned venues such as La Sagrada Familia (Barcelona), Barcelona Cathedral, and historic sites in Prague and Venice. In addition to her vocal training, she is an accomplished clarinetist and recorder player, teaching both instruments to diploma level and beyond under the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM).

As a classical singer, Grace has performed in various operas, including Poulenc’s Dialogue of the Carmelites and Vaughan Williams’ The Pilgrim’s Progress. She is passionate about inspiring the next generation of singers to explore and preserve the rich traditions of opera and classical music.

Grace was also a member of the Royal Northern College of Music’s prestigious Chamber Choir, where she had the opportunity to work with some of Europe’s finest vocal ensembles, including the BBC Singers, Voces 8, and the Norwegian Edvard Grieg Korene. Additionally, she trained in conducting under Stuart Overrington (UK Halle Choir) and David Hill (Principal Conductor of Yale Schola Cantorum).

As a voice teacher at muse mantra, Grace specializes in vocal health and technique, ensuring students develop a deep understanding of their voice. Whether teaching opera, musical theater, or pop, she prioritizes vocal mechanics and longevity, helping students not only enjoy singing but also gain a true appreciation for the artistry and science behind their voice. Grace also teaches beginner piano at muse mantra.

Voice Lessons

With beginners, we start with a basic understanding of breathing mechanisms, body alignment and resonance through vocal exercises and simultaneously proceed with an appropriate repertoire.

With advanced singers, we keep working on all aspects of vocal technique including vowel alignment and modification, diction, range, and other aspects related to the repertoire of their choice (classical vs. music theater and CCM). We include “vocal coaching” in lessons as well, which is accompanying students on piano, helping with learning new repertoire, stylistic, and overall musicality.
