Recital Etiquette Agreement

• Respect ALL performers. Every student has invested time and hard work into their performance, so kindly show them the respect and courtesy they deserve.

• Please plan to arrive early to your session so all your guests are seated prior to the start of a session. Students who are more than 15 minutes late to their session will not be allowed to participate.

• Do not leave in the middle of a session. If you must leave the recital hall before the session is over, quietly exit at the end of a performance - during the applause.

​

• Performers will not be permitted to leave until the end of the session.

​​

• Refrain from talking during the performance. 

​​

• Water in a closed bottle is allowed in the recital hall. No other food or drinks are allowed in the recital hall.

​​

• Cell phones and other electronic devices must be turned off or set to silent.

​​

• Our sessions are two hours long and small children may get antsy. There will not be room in the audience seating for them to move freely. Please keep this in mind when deciding whether to bring a small child to the recital.
