Joshua Eason

Joshua has always loved playing the piano and knew from an early age he would help others to follow that same passion.  With over 18 years of piano experience, he has collaborated with other musicians while refining his skills through national competitions, recitals, and master classes.

He established a strong foundation studying under Elna Myburg, which led to his success in competitions through the Kingwood-Humble Music Teacher Association.  Currently a 4th year Piano Performance Major at Sam Houston State University, he studies under the direction of

Dr. Ilonka Rus.  Joshua plans to continue his education with graduate school and eventually a doctoral program in piano performance.

Joshua works to instill a solid foundation of music theory, music history, technique, and sight reading for all his students.  His methods include chord paying, improvising, composing, and arranging to help his students build confidence in their ability to play piano.

He joins the Muse Mantra family as a piano teacher and plans to one day teach at the university level to help the next generation of musicians advance and follow their passion.
