Joshua Eason
Joshua has always had a deep love for the piano and knew from an early age that he wanted to help others discover that same passion. With over 20 years of piano experience, he has collaborated with fellow musicians and honed his craft through national competitions, recitals, and master classes.
He began his formal training under Elna Myburg, which laid a strong musical foundation and led to multiple successes in competitions through the Kingwood-Humble Music Teacher Association. Joshua holds a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from Sam Houston State University, where he studied under the guidance of Dr. Ilonka Rus. He is currently pursuing his teaching certification, with aspirations of leading a classroom of young musicians in the public school system.
At muse mantra, Joshua teaches piano to students from beginner to advanced levels. His approach blends a strong foundation in music theory, music history, technique, and sight-reading with creative methods such as chord playing, improvisation, composition, and arranging. He aims to build his students' confidence and inspire a lifelong love of music—whether in private lessons or the classroom.
