Kamela Scarbeck started singing and playing the piano when she was five years old. She has always been passionate about spreading her love of music with those around her.
She attended the Conservatory of Melun in France, where she spent most of her life. During this time, she studied music history/theory & sang Italian opera. In 2015, she pursued her passion for teaching voice and piano in her community & has been impacting her students ever since.
Kamela graduated from Sam Houston University in May of 2020 with a minor in Music. She is fluent in French and can sing in Spanish & Italian. Most importantly, she adapts to all of her students' learning styles and believes that confidence can be built through a shared love of music.
While Kamela prefers teaching to performing, she has participated in countless recitals and small concerts. This past summer, she played piano for Glade Art’s Foundation’s happy hour and has provided musical entertainment for Glade’s art gallery opening, corporate and birthday dinners, even book signings.
