Sarah Yeates
Ms. Sarah Yeates is a pianist and vocalist who teaches piano and voice at muse mantra as a guest teacher.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance with honors from Houston Christian University, where she focused on classical voice and the Bel Canto style of singing.
Sarah is an active performer in the Houston area, with experience in musical theater and opera. Highlights include The Sound of Music with AD Players Theater Company, singing Susanna in The Marriage of Figaro at the Brancaleoni International Music Festival in Italy, and leading roles in HCU productions such as Don Giovanni and Beatrice et Benedict.
She is a frequent NATS competitor and has earned top placements at city and regional levels, including consecutive first place wins in the Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico classical voice competitions, as well as the Byrd Memorial Music Scholarship.
In her lessons, Sarah emphasizes healthy technique, music theory, musicianship, and expressive performance. She believes in the joy that music brings to everyday life and loves helping students of all levels discover their voice, grow their confidence, and share their music with others.
