William Massey is a pianist, vocalist, and educator from Mount Holly, North Carolina. He recently earned his Master’s in Sacred Music from the University of St. Thomas and holds a bachelor’s degree in Music Performance from Wingate University.

 

As a performer, William has sung with the Charlotte Master Chorale, the North Carolina High School Honors Chorus, and the Charlotte Symphony Chorus as a young artist in residence. He also performed at Carnegie Hall with the High School Honor Performance Series Chorus, placed in the top five in the College Tenors category of the North Carolina chapter of NATS, and appeared in two world premiere operas at Wingate.

William has two years of experience teaching both voice and piano. In lessons, he blends healthy technique with musical expression, listening skills, and clear practice plans so students grow with confidence at every level. He believes music brings people together, opens doors to history and culture, and helps students discover more about themselves and the world around them.
